On May 8, 2025 we celebrated Professor Robert Fefferman, Max Mason Distinguished Service Professor, and his remarkable 50 years of service to the University of Chicago. During his distinguished career, Professor Fefferman has served as Chair of the Department of Mathematics, Dean of the Physical Sciences Division, and Director of Undergraduate Studies. His leadership, scholarship, and unwavering dedication have left a lasting impact on our department, the division, and generations of students and colleagues.
